Clarkson Bros Dumpster Rental, Clarksville

Clarkson Bros Dumpster Rental operates out of a yard at 124 10th St, a few blocks from where the Red River runs into the Cumberland — close enough to downtown Clarksville that our drivers know the one-way streets, the bridge traffic patterns, and which alleys are too tight for a 22-foot roll-off before they ever pull up to a job. We started as a small, local operation and have grown alongside the county, adding trucks and container inventory as demand from renovation crews, roofing contractors, and homeowners kept climbing.

Montgomery County has been one of the faster-growing counties in Tennessee for a stretch of years now, driven in large part by Fort Campbell's steady personnel growth and the residential and commercial building that follows it into Sango, Woodlawn, and the rest of the county. That growth is the reason we exist in our current form: more subdivisions going up means more construction debris, more home renovations mean more driveway-side roll-offs, and more moves in and out of the area mean more cleanouts. We built our fleet and our size lineup around what this specific market actually needs, not a generic national template.

Why we're based downtown

Our yard on 10th St sits inside Clarksville proper, not out on the edge of the county, which keeps drive times reasonable in both directions — a short hop into downtown, Austin Peay-area neighborhoods, and the older in-town housing stock, and a straight run out Highway 41A, Fort Campbell Blvd, or Highway 48 to reach Woodlawn, Sango, and the outlying counties. Being downtown also means we're a short pull from the I-24 interchanges that most of our contractor customers use to move between job sites, which matters when a same-day swap gets requested mid-morning.

How we work

Delivery, placement, and pickup are handled by our own drivers rather than a subcontracted broker network, which is why we can give straight answers about placement on gravel versus pavement, whether a container will fit behind a specific gate, or how weight limits work for concrete and roofing loads. Our dispatch team schedules by container availability and drive route, not by a call center working off a script, so questions about a specific address usually get a specific answer rather than a guess.

Serving both sides of the state line

Fort Campbell straddles the Tennessee/Kentucky line, and that geography is the whole reason our service area crosses into Christian County, Kentucky. Oak Grove, Hopkinsville, and Pembroke sit close enough to the post that a meaningful share of the households and businesses there are tied to Fort Campbell one way or another — permanent change-of-station moves, base-adjacent contractors, and off-post housing turnover all generate the same kind of debris we haul on the Tennessee side, so we run the same size lineup and the same delivery process across both states.

What we stand on

The things we will not trade away

  • Local knowledge, not a script

Our drivers and dispatch team work these specific roads every day, from downtown Clarksville's narrow side streets to the gravel driveways common around Dover and Erin, so placement questions get answered by people who've actually been there.

  • Straight talk on price and rules

We'd rather tell you up front what a size holds, what it weighs, and what's not allowed in it than have you find out at pickup. No surprise fees hidden behind vague terms.

  • Right-sized for the job

Five container sizes, from a 10-yard for a single-room cleanout to a 40-yard for commercial demolition, so you're not paying for capacity you don't need or running out of room mid-project.

  • Coverage that matches the region

Sixteen towns across six counties and two states isn't an arbitrary service radius — it follows the real geography of Fort Campbell, the Cumberland River corridor, and Middle Tennessee's county-seat towns.

Answers

About Clarkson Bros Dumpster Rental — common questions

Is Clarkson Bros Dumpster Rental locally owned and operated?

Yes. We're based at 124 10th St in downtown Clarksville, and our drivers and dispatch team operate directly out of that yard rather than routing calls through an out-of-state broker.

How long has Clarkson Bros been serving the Clarksville area?

We've been operating in the Clarksville market for several years, growing our container fleet and service area alongside the county's construction and moving activity, much of it tied to Fort Campbell's growth.

Do you only serve Clarksville itself?

No. While Clarksville is our home base, we regularly deliver to 15 other towns across Montgomery, Stewart, Houston, Cheatham, and Robertson Counties in Tennessee, plus Christian County, Kentucky, near Fort Campbell.

Are you affiliated with Fort Campbell or Austin Peay State University?

No, we're an independent local business with no official affiliation to either institution. We simply operate in the same region and serve customers connected to both.

What sets Clarkson Bros apart from a national dumpster rental broker?

We own and dispatch our own trucks and containers rather than reselling capacity from a third-party hauler, so the person answering your call knows the actual size lineup, current availability, and local placement rules — not a generic script.

Service area

Serving all of the Clarksville area

We run roll-off containers out of our downtown 124 10th St yard to all sixteen communities we cover across greater Clarksville — Woodlawn, Sango and the rest of Montgomery County close to the yard, Stewart, Houston, Cheatham and Robertson counties a bit farther out, and Fort Campbell's Kentucky side around Oak Grove, Hopkinsville and Pembroke. Clarksville and the closest towns are usually same-day; the farther edges of the service area are next-day. If your town is not listed, call anyway. We likely still get there.
